Paula Yubero Atauri (Madrid, Spain, 1997) is a photographer based in Madrid. She is currently finishing her final year of Fine Arts BA at the Complutense University. Throughout her student trajectory she has shown an always growing interest in the image, focusing on Photography. Thanks to the interdisciplinary character of her Bachelor, she has been able to approach Photography from different perspectives, merging all the possibilities of the medium with her own experiences and concerns as a young artist.
In the last academic year (2017-2018) she was granted an Erasmus scholarship to study at the University of the Belas Artes in Lisbon.

She works with photography as a means of artistic expression.
She works both with digital and analogue media, always taking into account in the decision of the medium what this conceptually contributes to the specific project.
Her speech is always based on the artist's personal experience with the environment. From this, the projects are focused in a poetic way, in which it is more interesting what it suggests than the explicit experience. In this way, the poetics of the image have important weight.
She usually propose series of images that narrate an open story . The intention is to evoke a series of emotions, perceptions, moods, with which the viewer can feel identified and through which their own story can be told.
There are recurring themes such as time, space, perception, beauty and poetry and narrative of the image.
